Salaam, I’m Ahmad, a blacksmith. My workshop is hot, loud, and full of sparks. I take pieces of metal and with fire and a hammer, I shape them into tools. Hoes for farmers, knives for kitchens, gates for homes. It’s hard work. My arms are strong and my hands have scars. But I love it. Because everything I make helps someone else do their job. My father taught me this trade. He said, “A strong community is built by strong hands.” So I work every day. I want you to know: hard work matters.
